Every night when I finish reading I close my book and look at Obama smiling and looking back up at me from the cover. I say to him in that moment, "You ol coot! You just taught me something I never knew before!"

Let's discuss a meeting time, shall we? I'd like to propose Monday, Dec. 15, maybe around 6ish... I will be out of town all weekend but can easily make a drive to BR on Monday. We can have a dinner somewhere and discuss our reading.
Sounds good to me. I was hoping we could do weekdays but didnt know if that would work for you lafayette residents.
It seems three of us have confirmed Monday's meeting at 6pm - Me, Pig and Jimmy. We need one more man to give us the green light and we'll go ahead with the meeting. 4 out of 5. Otherwise, I don't think it should happen. Even if you other two boys can't make it, you should post a NAY so that we know you've got the message.
BL just signed on.. that means we have our 4 person majority... where you boys wanna meet? anyone have a specific place that offers food and a nice atmosphere to chat?
Something's come up with me for work and I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it tonight (possible but unlikely). Any objections to moving it to tomorrow night, Tuesday the 16th?

Jimmy's in! We have our majority. Tomorrow at 6pm it is! Someone come up with an adequate meeting spot before then.
Okay. How about Chelsea's under the Perkins overpass? There are several places in the area if there's a band or it's otherwise too loud- including Perks coffee if no one wants to eat.

Chelsea's sounds good. If it turns out to be too loud, our alternate can be Georgre's right next door. Good alternate.
I hate to do this but Em picked up a shift tonight w/out my knowledge. I'd say everyone could come to my place but the baby's been sick and we'll end up talking over a crying baby all night.
If you guys are down for moving it (again) to Wednesday night (or some time next week) I can make it then. Otherwise I'll have to catch you all next month. No hard feelings.
